Bomark Pak d.o.o. – Work Unit for Employing Persons with Disabilities

Bomark Pak d.o.o. – Work Unit for Employing Persons with Disabilities received the status of an Integrative Workshop on March 30, 2022.

The integrative workshop operates within the manufacturing industry, focusing on rewinding stretch film on rewinding lines and providing services to the parent company, Bomark Pak d.o.o., in the process of manufacturing stretch film on production lines, packaging, and storing raw materials for production and finished products.

The integrative workshop, which employs persons with disabilities, markets its products to customers within the Republic of Croatia through direct business contracts, while excess capacity is used by Bomark Pak d.o.o. to produce for export to the European Union market.

Currently employed: 11 persons with disabilities

Currently, the integrative workshop employs 11 persons with disabilities, and the business policy ensures the further development of the work unit by introducing new technologies to secure additional jobs and employ persons with disabilities. Care is taken to consider the work and social functioning of employees, setting realistic goals for workers while recognizing their challenges at work. There is a timely assessment of the need for changes to adapt workplaces and working conditions to provide persons with disabilities a positive work environment.

Employer of the Year for Persons with Disabilities for 2021

Bomark Pak d.o.o. received the Employer of the Year for Persons with Disabilities award for 2021 in the good practice category, under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family, and Social Policy. The awards were intended for employers who excel in employing persons with disabilities, promoting a culture of inclusion, providing equal opportunities for employment, education, advancement, and the security of all employees, and managing their business in a socially responsible manner.

This recognition is a culmination of the work done by Bomark Pak d.o.o., which, through its constant efforts to integrate persons with disabilities into market activities, strives to provide better working conditions. With expert support and guidance, the company also aims to strengthen the position of persons with disabilities in society, emphasizing the importance of their work both for the market and for the broader community.
