On September 4, 2014, a new investment was initiated to expand production capacities as part of the Operational Program Regional Competitiveness 2007–2013 – “Increasing Economic Activity and Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.”
The company Bomark Pak d.o.o. was established in 2006 and is the only Croatian manufacturer of stretch films. Through continuous investment in development, they now utilize the most modern machinery, produce the highest quality products, operate fully automated production lines, and ensure that the product is environmentally friendly. The production process does not harm the environment. Bomark Pak continues to invest, and the result of this commitment is the project “Investment in the Construction and Equipment of a Paper Core Manufacturing Plant”, which aims to ensure consistent product quality. This will enhance competitiveness, leading to an increased market share and expanded product placement in the markets of Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria.
The stated goals are intended to be achieved through the construction of a 3,000 m² production and storage hall equipped with the most modern machinery for manufacturing paper cores. The hall will be located in Ludbreg. The project includes the employment of 11 new workers and their training, with the potential for this number to grow in the coming years. All of this will contribute to making the final product, stretch film, even more competitive in the market, enabling further growth and progress.
The project is to be implemented over 21 months, with a total value of HRK 29,938,313.00, of which HRK 11,201,294.30 is financed through non-refundable European Union funds from Structural and Cohesion Funds under the 2007-2013 Program. The project contributes to achieving goals through a competitive product, expanded production assortment, new products focused on the use of renewable raw materials, additional employment and training, and is of innovative significance for the entire region. The planned implementation period for the project is from September 4, 2014, to June 3, 2016.
