“Expansion of Production Capacities through Construction of a Factory and Purchase of New Technology – PRINT”
On October 17, 2016, Bomark Pak d.o.o. began a new investment to increase production capacities within the framework of the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020, under Priority Axis 3: Business Competitiveness, Investment Priority 3d: Support to the creation of capacities for SMEs to participate in growth processes in regional, national, and international markets and innovation processes, and Specific Objective 3d1: Improved development and growth of SMEs in domestic and foreign markets.
Bomark Pak d.o.o. is the only Croatian manufacturer of stretch films and operates within the Bomark group, the largest Croatian distributor of packaging materials and equipment. Thanks to continuous investments in development and production modernization, the company uses the latest technology, with fully automated production lines and eco-friendly products. The next step in expanding and modernizing production to achieve the highest industry standards in stretch film manufacturing is the “Expansion of Production Capacities through the Construction of a Factory and Purchase of New Technology – PRINT” project. The goal of this project is to ensure additional production capacities and the highest quality of stretch films, which will enhance the company’s competitiveness in the EU market and ultimately increase its market share in Western Europe.
The goal of the project will be achieved by constructing a production hall with a gross floor area of 3,069.3 m² and equipping it with the most modern stretch film production machinery. The hall will be located in Ludbreg. The introduction of new advanced technology for producing stretch films will improve the final product’s characteristics and reduce the generation of waste film during the production process, contributing to meeting the highest environmental protection standards. The project includes the hiring and training of 11 new employees, with the possibility of additional hiring in future years. All these efforts will enable further growth and advancement of Bomark Pak d.o.o.
The project implementation will last for 17 months, with a total value of 45,352,030.36 HRK, of which 12,752,151.78 HRK is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund within the OPCC 2014-2020 framework. The project contributes to achieving goals through increased product competitiveness, expanded product range, strengthened technical and technological capacities of the company, additional hiring, and employee training, while also representing an innovation that will benefit the entire region. The project is expected to be completed between October 17, 2016, and March 17, 2018.
